Privacy

We will always ask you if we are thinking about changing the way we do Privacy. And we'll always take notice of what you decide...

Email addresses and other personal information...

We do ask for your email address to allow us to communicate with you.

Synatra is designed to connect groups of people. We want to make sure you only get connected to the right people at the right time and we want to make it easy to break those connections when the time comes.

Quite reasonably, the groups and organisations that you belong to through Synatra will want to keep you up to date with what they are up to. Just as reasonably, we will ensure that you are in control of how and when they get to stay in touch.

If you want to keep your email address private, we will arrange for your contacts to communicate through Synatra - that way the only people who know your email address are you and Synatra. When you want to 'switch off' a connection, just tell Synatra and we'll make sure you don't get any more mail from that particular group.

We will never allow any other organisation to access your email address without your permission and we will only use your email address to communicate with you in accordance with the choices made when customising synatra.

If you provide us with the email addresses of friends, colleagues or any other individual, we will use that email address only once to communicate with the person involved. If that person decides to join this website our normal privacy policy will apply.

If the person involved decides not to take up any offer that may be communicated to them, their email address and other personal information will be completely removed from our computer systems.

Cookies

Facebook integration

You may login to synatra using your Facebook account.

Synatra also has the ability to post photos to your Facebook account.

We do not access or store your Facebook login details.

When we arrange to post an image to Facebook, or attempt to login using your Facebook account, if you are not already logged in to Facebook, Facebook will display a login screen to allow you to verify your access to the appropriate Facebook account. We never access or store your Facebook login details.

Once logged in, or if you are already logged in, we use our access to Facebook to place the selected image into your Photo page and into your Facebook feed or to log you in to synatra.
